YELLOW BANANA CHIPS

YELLOW BANANA CHIPS

Dear Diary… Today, Banana Chips Took Me to a South Indian Train Station

Written by: Chini from Charliee

Dear Diary,

Some snacks are simple.
And then some hit you with flavour — bold, loud, and unforgettable.
Today’s star?
Charliee’s Yellow Banana Chips.

I had opened the pack casually, just for a little background crunch during my movie night.
But the moment I took my first bite, I wasn’t on my couch anymore.
I was at a busy train station in Kochi — where I first tasted those
authentic Kerala banana chips, fresh and hot, served in a paper cone.

That salty-turmeric kick.
That golden crunch.
That perfect snap with every bite.
It was all there.

No greasy aftertaste. No extra masalas. Just pure, simple South Indian banana chip goodness, exactly how it’s supposed to be.

Of course, being me, I had to know more. So I did a little digging.
Charliee makes their
yellow banana chips using fresh raw bananas, sliced super thin, and fried in pure and fresh oil— not reused oil like many mass-market brands.
The result? A crunchy, light snack that’s full of flavour but doesn’t feel heavy.
And guess what? You can easily
buy banana chips online in India from their website — fresh, authentic, and delivered right to your door.

It’s not just a snack.
It’s a trip back to road trips, filter coffee pit stops, and banana-leaf lunches.

Today, Diary, I didn’t just munch.
I travelled — and I did it in pyjamas.

Love,
Chini
